Meghan Markle has been subjected to a mock-kidnap SAS exercise which included live gunfire as part of her preparation for becoming a member of the Royal family.
Prince Harry's 36-year-old fiancee spent two days in the Herefordshire countryside with Britain's elite special forces to train her to deal with thepossibility of an attack, reports the Daily Mail.
The former Suits star was accompanied by her husband-to-be during the gruelling session, which one former SAS officer described as "devised to frighten the life out of anyone".
He told The Daily Express: "Even though Meghan will have known the enemy was not real, I guarantee that she will have been petrified.
"That's why live ammo is used, so she knows what real gunfire sounds like should, God forbid, she ever be in a hostile situation."
During the intense exercise, Meghan was reportedly kidnapped and "treated like a hostage".
She is most likely to have been taught how to form a relationship with her kidnappers, former Army intelligence officer Gerald Moor said.

He said the training will have been delivered by "the Army's finest" and "toughest" troops, adding: "Meghan will have found the experience physically and psychologically gruelling."
A military source told The Express the training - which is provided to most senior Windsors - was offered to Meghan before her wedding "because of heightened security issues at this time."
She is already under guard 24/7 in the build-up to her and Harry's wedding in Windsor on May 19.
It is believed that 30 elite SAS troops will guard the prince and his bride at the event.
The same training undergone by Meghan was also given to Princess Diana.
Diana ended up winding down her car window and taking a pellet from a flashbang to her head, which set her hair alight.
