Marc Jacobs' accidentally posts nude selfie

US fashion designer Marc Jacobs has been photo-bombed by his own body during a nude selfie.

Jacobs took the selfie of the side of his butt and body and posted it on Instagram for his 194,000 followers with the caption, "It's yours to try!".

However, it was whipped down soon after because it showed something Jacobs should not have whipped out.

The photo has since turned up on Gawker and shows part of his appendage sneaking into the frame.

The Gawker screen grab has been posted or retweeted hundreds of times on Twitter by fans of the fashion designer and dozens of media outlets and gossip websites.

Some people even looked straight past the nudie, to appreciate the 52-year-old's body.

"I didn't know @marcjacobs had a Bodyodyody like THAT," wrote MermaidDancin.
