Man's attempt to take family reunion photo with drone goes horribly wrong

A woman was hit in the face by an out-of-control drone as her family posed for a reunion photo in America.

The flyer of the drone thought it would be a good idea to take a big family photo by using its height.

But little did he realise, he needs a lot more practice when the toy swooped into the crowd.

They're all smiling for the camera which flies up off the ground.

The shaky drone then flies towards the family and directly into the face of the woman on the grass, the MailOnline reported.

It then lands in a heap on the bank as family members laugh at the misfortune.

The family, of which there are lots of children, are still smiling at this point unaware that it's all about to go horribly wrong.

In a quite literal photobomb the drone hurtles towards the woman smacking her in the face.

The woman looks shocked to see the machine flying towards her and closes her eyes.

The video ends with the drone falling to the floor with viewers just being able to see the grass.

The footage comes from America although it's not clear exactly where.

It looks like a man on the edge of the crowd, one of the family members, is the one controlling the drone which lost control.
