Botta told Newshub a friend came up with the concept of Tindersurfing and he's since turned it into a lifestyle.
He knows "a guy travelling only with Tinder" will "never please everyone" but has had some success.
To date, he has visited more than 20 cities in eight countries, had 3000 matches and 21 hosts through Tinder.
Botta told Newshub about half the people he strikes a conversation with on Tinder end up insulting him and deleting the match but it is still worth it.
"Out of 100 ladies around half will be insulting me, deleting the match, saying 'you're an asshole, who are you, doing that?', 'are you bringing syphilis with the breakfast?'
"I have ladies telling me 'no, I live with my parents', 'no, I live with my boyfriend'... what the f*** are you doing on Tinder if you live with your boyfriend?
Botta says it's not that difficult as all he needs is one lady to say yes in the city and his accommodation is sorted.
He now has his sights set on New Zealand and has already checked out Auckland ladies on Tinder for a potential match.
The question of sex eventually comes up - Tinder is an app for hooking up, after all. He says he "can't deny" that sometimes happens too.
"Sometimes I will just crash on the couch, sometimes I have a private room just for myself, but sometimes I won't deny that some stuff happens."
"It looks f***ing lit, if I might say.
"The ladies look way more open than in Europe," he adds.
