Russ Richards (John Travolta) and Crystal Latroy (Lisa Kudrow) are self-absorbed celebs on a smalltown TV station. Well, Richards is more than just a weatherman who's world-famous in his local isobar. He's also a snowmobile dealer. Or would be, if it snowed.
Busted by the bank, his only hope
is to win the lottery. With advice from local gentleman's club owner Gig (Tim Roth), Russ and Crystal set out to rig the draw.
"It's amazing how little a collection of some of Hollywood's hottest stars can accomplish when they really put their minds to it," giggled one American writer.
With Travolta, Kudrow, Roth and Bill Pullman as a sleazy, slacker cop, this is one of the finest casts ever assembled to make a third-rate film.
