And if you were among the lot that liked Snatch, you might want to go looking for this one, too. Directors Dominic Anciano and Ray Burdis make their second flick with a bunch of actor-friends who mostly use their own names and, essentially, make up their own movie as they go along.
Jonny Lee Miller stars as, yep, Jonny, a psychopath who works his way into a north London gang headed by plump, karaoke-loving Ray Winstone, becomes the most dangerous hood in town and provokes a war with the south London crew, led by Sean Pertwee.
You'll recongnise most of the faces flitting in and out from other British movies and TV: Jude Law, Kathy Burke, Denise Van Outen and Rhys Ifans (the last two allowed to use stage names) are there.
So are Anciano and Burdis as minor crooks who spend their time discussing Burdis' impotence until the gang takes an overdose of Viagra and commits a robbery disguised as Arab sheikhs. Funny how the Brits always fall for that old trick, isn't it?
