Kiwi parents reveal the hilarious ways they deliberately embarrass their kids

One of the great joys of being a parent is getting to deliberately embarrass your kids.

Especially when they get to that age of trying to be "cool" … You know the one.

The Hits radio presenter Stacey Morrison revealed that her father used to drive up to her crushes while she was in the car and let them know that Stace – much to her mortification - was head-over-heels for them.

Meanwhile, Paul Flynn (AKA Flynny) explained his dancing by the school bus in the morning when sending off his son Jack.

Other Kiwis chimed him to share their hilarious stories – including one woman who picks up her kids from school wearing swimming goggles and a snorkel.

While another mother revealed she likes to loudly remind her rude son that she "birthed him through [her] birth canal and how [her] lady bits."

Another admitted that she was the one left red in the face after her mother turned up at her first day of high school riding a bicycle, with a colander tied to her head "and cutaway shorts so her backside was hanging out."

Oh dear. Now that would be embarrassing!
