KitKat voted world's favourite chocolate bar

Chocolate is one of the smallest yet most delicious treasures in life.

It gets us through our most fun times, our toughest times, and anytime you feel like sweetening up.

But which bar is most loved by the world?

A survey on voting site Ranker has revealed the top bar most loved by the world.

Taking the number one spot is Nestle's KitKat closely followed in second place by Twix.

Snickers, Milky Way and Hershey Bar came in third, fourth and fifth while the rest of the top 10 was rounded out by Nestle Crunch, Butterfinger Bar, 3 Musketeers, Toblerone and Almond Joy.

Other bars in the top 50 included Mars (15th), Cadbury Dairy Milk (17th), Kinder Bueno (29th), Aero (31st), Galaxy (41st), Maltesers 44th and Crunchie (45th).

Caramilk, the Cadbury chocolate bar taking New Zealand by storm, didn't have a rank to match the hype after coming in at 46th.

The Christmas present favourite in Ferrero Rocher dropped to 48th while the humble Flake was ranked 50th.
