If you were mesmerised by their Royal Wedding rendition of Stand By Me as you sat on the couch with your plastic crown and plate of scones, you'll no doubt be thrilled to learn that the Kingdom Choir who performed at Harry and Meghan's wedding is coming to New Zealand.
That's right, Kiwis will get to relive the Royal Wedding moment in the flesh when the choir tours here in August next year.
The group performed their wedding showstopper, Stand By Me, to an audience of nearly two billion people in May this year and it sparked a worldwide fandom for the group.
Founder Karen Gibson said they are looking forward to sharing their music with Kiwis.
"The Kingdom Choir are absolutely delighted with the journey of the past few months. We are extremely grateful and excited about the opportunity to share our music with our New Zealand fans," she shared.
The choir have clearly become a favourite for Meghan and Harry too: they were also asked to perform at the Closing Ceremony of the Duke's Invictus Games in Sydney this Saturday.
Invictus Games Sydney board member, Geoff Jones, believes the group are the perfect choice for an event so close to the Duke's heart.
"After capturing the adoration of the world at the Royal Wedding earlier this year, it's only fitting that The Kingdom Choir perform at the Games founded by His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex," he said.
