Kim Kardashian has laughed off suggestions she waxed her daughter's eyebrows.

The 33-year-old reality TV star was accused by her Instagram followers of having North West's eyebrows professionally groomed, after she posted a close up picture of the beautiful tot gnawing on a white blanket.

She poked fun at the comments on Twitter on Tuesday writing: "Do people really think I would wax my daughters eyebrows so young? Come on, I'd wait until she's at least 2 1/2!"

But it appears some fans still didn't get the joke, as she quickly added: "I'm kidding!!! Its pretty sick for people to insinuate that I would wax my daughters eyebrows. They are thick, natural and amazing! (sic)"

The photo of North that sparked the storm is one of only a handful which have been shared by Kim since she gave birth in June, as her fiancé, rapper Kanye West is fiercely protective of his daughter.

While Kim hasn't let her "glam squad" work their magic on North yet, Kanye is paying US$250,000 to make sure the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star looks flawless during his Yeezus tour.

A source previously said: "Kanye has told Kim he will spare no expense to make her look ready to go to a major photo shoot whenever she desires. So, Kim's hair stylist, make-up artist, and stylist all based in Los Angeles, are on call 24/7, ready to get on a private jet to be whisked to her location."
