They call them killer heels for a reason - as Fashion Week models discovered yesterday when at least two of them got the wobbles on their towering platforms.
It was a Naomi Campbell moment, as their ankles turned and their strides turned into stumbles. One girl fell to
the floor; the other managed to right herself.
On a second turn down the runway at the Annah Stretton show, one of the same models again teetered sideways in the same spot near her exit backstage.
The audience of 1000 people packed into the Big Tent drew breath as she inelegantly but successfully steadied herself after several sideways lurches.
