Keith Richards electric shock film footage being auctioned

The New York Post reports that the website itsonlyrocknroll.com is auctioning a 12-minute, 30-second super-8 colour film from 1965 showing Rolling Stones guitar god Keith Richards being knocked out by an electric shock at a concert in Sacramento, California.

The film shows Richards accidentally touching his guitar strings to an ungrounded mike. Sparks fly. Richards collapses. Bandmates Mick Jagger, Bill Wyman and Brian Jones look freaked out. The MC ends the show.

Richards was taken to a hospital and revived. The flick is expected to fetch $14,000.
