Scotland footballer Allan McGregor's ex Leah Shevlin revealed how her former fiancé cancelled their wedding venue before he told her he did not want to marry her.
The jilted bride, based in Glasgow, alleged the ex-Rangers goalkeeper said he couldn't get hitched just days before their ceremony last summer.
Leah,33, said McGregor, 34, blamed it on cold feet and told her he didn't 'believe in marriage' during a family holiday in Dubai in June.
She claimed he then contacted the wedding planner and the venue, Mount Stuart House on Bute, without her knowledge to officially cancel the ceremony.
In a blog post, the mum-of-one said she had been subjected to 'disgusting treatment' at the hands of the Hull City goalkeeper, with whom she has a four-year-old daughter Noelle.
The WAG said she wanted to set the record straight about the wedding, which was due to take place on June 20, last year to stop speculation.
She said: "I've heard the rumours as to why my wedding seemingly didn't take place. I must say, I uncontrollably laughed at the suggestion I was unfaithful, I've never been unfaithful in my life and nor would I be, it's just not in my nature.

"There was no reason to suspect anything was wrong, he never said a word, no inkling what so ever that he was having second thoughts.
"We carried on with our holiday enjoying time with our daughter then all of a sudden, a few days in, he turned to me (bear in mind this is the first week in June and our wedding is planned for 20th June) and he says, "I can't get married." He didn't elaborate, that was it.
"I actually thought he was joking for a full 48 hours because he carried on as normal being my partner, in every sense of the word if you get me, I just thought he was drunk. Seriously.
"But then, a few days later, I got an email from my wedding planner and also the manager of the wedding venue to say he'd been in touch to cancel. It was then we had the conversation.
"He had no explanation behind it, just that he was scared and couldn't go through with it because he didn't believe in marriage, he tried to convince me it was only a piece of paper and we didn't need it to be together."
Leah said McGregor - who previously played for Scottish clubs Rangers, St Johnstone, Dunfermline Athletic and Turkish team Be?ikta - wanted to remain in a relationship with her after cancelling the nuptials but she decided to leave him.
She added: "I was devastated that he did this to me whilst on holiday in Dubai where I felt isolated and alone. I had no friends or family to confide in and that in itself was devastating and completely unforgivable.
"He'd had ample opportunity over the course of the previous 18-month period to cancel all wedding related plans, but instead, he waits to the very last millisecond, resulting in us losing absolutely everything for a full wedding that was paid for outright.
"Absolute madness and a total waste of everyone's time and efforts.
"Now if someone doesn't want to get married, they shouldn't have to get married, I'm all for people getting exactly what they want out of life.
"I'm the least selfish person and I care about other people's happiness before my own but the worst part for me is the way he did it and the fact he thinks it's justifiable.
"No one with an ounce of respect or common decency would treat anyone like that never mind the mother of their child and their partner of the last eight years. It's just disgusting."
Leah also said that she was glad to be away from McGregor, and now realised that she had "dodged a bullet".
Miss Shevlin started her own beauty blog after the break-up and has previously spoken about their split.
In her first post, titled "Leah Shevlin - the facts, not the fiction', she wrote: 'I love a bit of friendly banter, in fact, my last relationship began because he fell in love with me for my banter. Mmmm look how that ended up, maybe my banter isn't all that great after all."
In the weeks after the breakup she listed a pair of Swarovski-encrusted Christian Louboutin high heels under her eBay name 'sparklyblondeambition', with a starting price of £2,000 - a bargain, since the glitzy shoes sell new for £3,795.
Leah also listed a £500 pair of Christian Louboutin Pigalle pumps and a Baby Jogger buggy, currently at £225 and described as being "only used on a 10-day holiday to Dubai & never used since."
