It may have been a fake, but that didn't stop what was believed to be Jennifer Aniston's wedding dress from going viral.
A Jennifer Aniston Facebook fan page posted what the world believed was the 'first photo' of the Friends star on her wedding day. Take from the back, thepicture was of a blonde woman with a chic ponytail, wearing a beautiful backless trumpet mermaid chiffon bridal gown with long lace sleeves and a train of ivory white lace. With the message "You have my whole heart for my whole life. #WeddingDress - it was liked over 300,000 times and shared more than 27,000.
However, days later, it was revealed that the photograph was not Aniston, but a model posing for Israeli bridal designer Dimitrius Dalia in a gown from his 2014 collection.
While the dress in question appeared expensive, it was being sold - using the same picture - on shopping website AliExpress for a bargain $269US ($362NZ).
The viral gown is being sold online.

Despite the false lead, the rumour mill is still running concerning Aniston's actual dress - believed to be strapless, elegant and a lot more expensive than $169.
