Nicole (Melissa Joan Hart aka Sabrina, the Teenage Witch) is in the in-crowd and desperate to go to the big dance with hunky basketball player Brad (Gabriel Carpenter).
But Brad asks some cheerleader instead, so Nicole turns to out-crowd neighbour Chase
(Adrian Grenier).
You might have seen this before if you're over 12, but Chase and Nicole decide to act as though they're dating until their sweethearts realise the error of their ways and come running back.
But scruffy boy-next-door Chase cleans up into a hunk and realises that under the bimbo is a really cool chick.
You might have seen this before if you're over 12 ... but the producers know there is a really big market for cheesy high-school dating movies out there in the under-20s. And they'll love it.
