Sophie Lee, star of The Castle and Muriel's Wedding, has married British advertising boss Anthony Freedman.
The 33-year-old Newcastle-born Lee tied the knot in front of 120 guests at Sydney's Museum of Contemporary Art after becoming engaged last February.
Anthony, also 33, came to Australia in 1995 on a working holiday and
stayed on to found an advertising agency.
Sophie said the ceremony was written by her father, a philosophy professor.
"Anthony's Jewish and I'm Christian, so we agreed to have a neutral, non-denominational ceremony without religious references, which has been possible with my dad's help."
The actor said she would be converting to Judaism and planned to raise any future children in Anthony's faith.

Columbia Records has signed David Bowie to a multi-record deal, under which he's soon to release another studio album.
The first album under the pact, Heathen, is due out on June 11.
The New York-based musical giant - owned by Sony Corp - declined to reveal the financial terms of the high-profile deal.
The new album marks the first studio collaboration between the British star and producer Tony Visconti in more than 20 years.
