There are some dates that are just really, really bad.
But it's awkward when one of you thinks it went OK, while the other thought it was a total disaster. It gets even worse when your horrible opinions of the date are then printed in Time Out New York, aspart of a series called Meet the Undateables.
Each week the magazine matches up two lovers who say they're undateable and then they reveal what was good about the date and what wasn't.
Meet Alyssa and Billy, the latest couple to be matched up.
Alyssa is single because she's too picky, Billy is single because he has a busy schedule. But people are now finding it hard to believe that's the real reason Billy is single after he publicly criticised Alyssa after their date.
First he complained about her being five minutes late and then whinged about having to be a gentleman.
"Whether I was attracted to her or not, I still had to sit there for two hours and be a gentleman," Billy said in Time Out.
He also said he took two hours out of his busy schedule and felt like he "burned" it. Billy claimed the most awkward moment of the evening was when she ordered the filet mignon.
"The waiter just looked at me, and I looked at the waiter. I was like 'live your life, but this is not Outback Steakhouse, girl'," he said.
As Billy tried to end the date, the waiter asked the pair if they wanted ice cream. She accepted and Billy was upset he had to spend an extra 20 minutes with her.

He rated the date one star out of five, Alyssa gives him a three.
The poor woman didn't have a bad word to say but when it came to Billy, ouch.
