We chose this place because our first choice had changed hands and we didn't fancy the new-look cafe, so we decided to see what was on offer in the heart of the bays.

Parking was surprisingly tricky but it was a busy day.

We walked in and immediately thought it looked inviting and spacious with the window seating giving a nice flow to the outdoor area.

The most unusual thing on the menu was the size of it - very appealing with a comprehensive list of options. And the cabinets were overflowing with tastebud tempters.

We ordered creamy mushrooms and bacon ($12.50) and a bacon and egg croissant with red onion and tomato ($11.50). Both were delicious. The service was friendly and prompt.

The coffee was excellent.

We recommend if you come here you sit at the window seat to get the best of both worlds.

Overall, we thought Rhythm had a great atmosphere and we'd happily go back.
