Ponsonby gets bewitched
Witchery has opened
its first full retail store in New Zealand, on Ponsonby Rd. The cult Australian chain store jumped the ditch last year, opening small capsule stores inside department stores like Smith & Caughey. The big new Ponsonby store is located next to The Fairy Shop, and will stock the store's full range.
Helping the animals
Want an easy and helpful way to feel good this Christmas season? Bring a can (or several!) of pet food into any tkstore before 15 December, and they will pass it on to the SPCA - and you will get a 10 per cent discount of your purchase! The SPCA is inundated with unwanted cats and dogs around Christmas time, so this is a good way to alleviate some of the pressure on the SPCA team, and to generate some good karma at the same time. There are two tkstores in Auckland - at 50 Brown St, Ponsonby, and 18 High St, Auckland.

Smashbox Cosmetics have opened their first New Zealand store. The chic new concept store is open at 342 Ponsonby Rd, with all the best products from the LA-based brand. Workshop teams up again
Workshop Denim have teamed up with artist Martin Poppelwell for the second time, to produce an in-store installation at the Newmarket Workshop store as well as a limited edition range of prints. This season the prints include tees printed with the slogans `Unfashionable' and `Heart I U', which features a distorted heart shape in Poppelwell's irregular ashlar tile technique. There is also a very cute bowtie print for men and women, and ceramics in store.
Dance dance dance
Celebrity dancer Candy Lane has designed a activewear range that is available exclusively at Farmers. Called Dancesport, the all-black range features mix-and-match leisure and sport pieces including cha-cha skirts, shorts and embellished hoodies. But there is of course some of Lane's signature glitz, with leopard print featuring on some pieces. The range is available from selected Farmers stores from tomorrow, and prices range from $39.99 to $79.99.
