Idol worship Local designer Trelise Cooper has been favoured by Miley Cyrus - the daughter of country singer Billy Ray. Miley is No 17 in the Forbes list of top earners under 25 and stars as a young rocker in the pre-teen television series Hannah Montana. The vivacious 15-year-old singer and spokesperson for Daisy Rock Guitars wore Cooper's jacket during her appearance on American Idol: Idol Gives Back, which attracted 17.6 million American viewers. New Zealanders can see this style coup in action for themselves when the show screens here this coming Saturday.
Head of the class Every two years hairdressers all over the country go all-out with entries for the Schwarzkopf Professional Hairdressing Awards. Servilles Newmarket leads the pack with three of 18 finalists in the 08/09 awards. The awards are judged anonymously in Germany, and the winners are announced on Saturday May 10.
