It was the premiere of New Zealand writer Emily Perkins' adaptation of A Doll's House. The foyer of Auckland's Maidment Theatre was crowded with the who's who of the theatre world. The wondrous thing? How casually everyone was dressed. For a theatrical crowd it was decidedly underwhelming.
