We ordered omelettes, as Marcello quite rightly described them as "yummy". At $13.80 for cheese omelettes with four filling choices, I went for red peppers, bacon, mushrooms and basil pesto while Leanne opted for red onion, bacon, tomato pesto and spinach. Then a ever-so-pretty decorated cupcake ($4) and mini afghan morsel topped with icing and a jaffa ($2.20) rounded the outing off nicely.
The service was the best we've had in a long time. From Marcello's incredibly friendly and warm welcome to the cheerful service from the barista, it was perfect.
The coffee was just right.
We recommend if you come here you try some of the homemade baking if you still have room after your meal. Or just come for coffee and cake.
Overall we thought Marcello's is definitely worth a return visit just for the atmosphere.
