A heartbroken woman who spilled the tale of her boyfriend's infidelity at her local cafe was told her coffee was on the house - and the gesture left her 'ugly crying' all the way to work.
The small act of kindness has now gone viral, after the anonymous woman, whois based in the US, sent a touching thank you card to the baristas and they shared it online.
User "Goldenboy2191" revealed that he'd given her the drink when she arrived at the coffee shop looking upset last week.
Two days later she left a thank you note for staff in which she said they were "too good for this world", explaining that she'd just found out her boyfriend was married with a baby on the way.
The post has since gone viral, receiving 40,000 upvotes on the forum.

Goldenboy2191 shared the note on Reddit on Thursday, which detailed the woman's heartbreak at finding out her boyfriend had cheated on her.
After the sympathetic staff gave her a free drink she left a thank you note explaining why she'd been upset and said how much the gesture had meant to her.
"Imagine finding out that your boyfriend has a massively pregnant wife that you knew nothing about. Imagine getting zero hours of sleep because you know you have to work with him and see his stupid, cheating, lying, stupid, freaking face - all day.
"You probably just want some coffee to get you through that, right?"
The woman said their store was her favourite place to drink and receiving a free coffee made her 'ugly cry' when she left.
"Now imagine going to your favorite coffee spot, ordering your favorite drink, having the team listen to your stupid problems, tell you that you're sure as s*** too good for f***boys like that, make sure that your drink is the best damn white coffee kicker you've ever had, then tell you it's free," she said.
"I ugly cried the whole way to work. That was literally the most you could have done for me and I am so grateful for your kindness.
"I'm sorry I busted out in tears when you were nice to me. Please accept this seed paper as an apology and grow love with it."
The post received a whopping 40,000 upvotes and had users commenting in their thousands, praising Goldenboy2191 for his act of kindess.
One commented: "Wow, that's really special. I hope everything turns out alright for her. Whenever you perform an act of kindness, however small, you never know how much it might affect other people. Good on you and your coworkers."
