The Books in Homes programme, which provides books to thousands of children attending low decile schools, has just celebrated its 10th birthday.
Over that time six anthologies of writing and illustrations by children on this programme have been published, but this is the first time Tikity-boo! has been made available tothe general public.
As well as poems and stories by children, New Zealand authors Gavin Bishop, Joy Cowley, Margaret Mahy and Kingi McKinnon have contributed specially written pieces. It is a delightful anthology that will appeal to New Zealand children.
