So many Russians are being killed or injured in pursuit of the perfect selfie that police have launched a public safety campaign.
The "Safe Selfies" initiative, which includes leaflets featuring mock road signs, warns against standing on railway tracks, climbing on roofs or posing with a gun or, even more
bizarrely, a tiger.
These are just some of the ways that at least ten Russians have been killed and 100 injured taking selfies this year, police said.
The most recent death was last week, when a woman fell from a Moscow bridge.
Police spokesman Yelena Alexeyeva said: "Along with the advantages of the modern world there are also new threats.
