Jordan Watson first found fame with his hilarious video series of quirky parenting tips. Now the creator of How to Dad has turned his attention to another tricky role: Being Mike Hosking.
Watson, an Auckland father of two, has spent the morning dissecting the inner workings of Hosking to createan instructional video about just what it takes to be the Newstalk ZB and Seven Sharp broadcaster.
"You've got to wear shoes without socks and tug on your fancy jacket heaps," explains Watson.

As Watson cuts a banana in its skin with a knife and fork he says: "You've got to love eating your fruit salad."
3. Work like Mike
Taking a turn in the studio, Watson explains that to work like Mike, you've got to: "Pretend to push buttons and be important and stuff. And talk really fast into a microphone."

Finishing your sentences with the phrase "happy days" is also key.

According to Watson, being good with a vacuum is the most important attribute: "You've got to do the vacuuming yourself. You can't just get a baby to do it for you."
