With winter drawing close in the northern hemisphere, an increasing number of celebrities are ditching their summer beach waves for a sleek new do.
"Glass hair" was introduced to Instagram by celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton last month, after he was inundated with questions over Kim Kardashian's new sleek bob.
And
the trend hasn't taken long to catch on, with models Hailey Baldwin, Olivia Culpo, Jordan Dunn among the celebrities sporting the razor sharp style.
According to stylist to the stars Cash Lawless, the trend first emerged in the sixties before making a comeback in the nineties and reemerging recently.
The key to the look is to create a pin-straight, weightless hair which is perfectly polished, smooth and shiny- resembling a sheet of glass.
