In case you missed it: This was one of the Herald's top stories on social media this week.
Kmart is a place where you can find just about anything, but one lucky shopper stumbled across an unexpected find at the popular store — a Hollywood star.
Shopper Krystla McIntosh andher daughter Taylah were shopping the Ballina store, reports the Northern Star, when they came across movie star Matt Damon in the aisles.
Naturally they did what anyone would do — asked for a selfie.
The 47-year-old Good Will Hunting star happily posed for a picture with Taylor, 10, while holding a couple of stuffed toys in his hand.
According the balna.nsw post, the original pic was posted by Matty Mimnaw.
The Daily Mail reports that Ms McIntosh spotted Damon in the carpark before seeing him in the store and that it was Damon's wife, Luciana Barroso, who heard Taylor's request and got him to pose with her.
Damon has been spotted in Australia on a number of occasions recently, as he and his family spent Easter in Byron Bay with Aussie star Chris Hemsworth's brood.
The Bourne star also had a beer and posed for a photo with Queensland local Tyler Boyce in Double Island Point near Noosa last month and also attended Byron Bay Bluesfest.
"Me and the boys thought it would be rude if we didn't pop by to say hey and sink a few tinnies," Mr Boyce told the Courier Mail.
"To our surprise he was keen to chat and have a beer with us for a while, talking about how lucky we are to live here."
