Exercise advocate Jane Wilson believes in glowing from within.

We believe in the old adage that beauty comes from within, through good health and exercise, an idea that Jane Wilson advocates with her private boutique gym The Exercise Room. Wilson opened the Parnell studio in 2004, wanting a gym that was open 24 hours with personalised service and experienced trainers.

As for her own approach to beauty, the busy mother of two prefers to keep it simple and natural.

True beauty is if you are happy and healthy on the inside, you will glow and put out a good vibe.

My favourite things to wear while working out include Nike running pants, Lululemon singlets.

In my makeup bag I always have Dermalogica tinted moisturiser, Nars sticks, By Terry mascara, Lucas Papaw ointment.

I'm at my happiest when I'm lounging in the backyard with my family and have no place to be.

My latest discoveries include Dominion Rd, Eden Noodle Cafe, dumplings in spicy sauce. Rationale skincare oils.

My love for fashion began wearing my nana's gold glitter pumps. I so wish they were still around.

Designers or labels I love to wear are Sass and Bide, because they always have timeless pieces I fall in love with. Isabel Marant for her beautiful feminine fabrics, Alexander Wang for T-shirts.

My style is comfortable and easy, so I'm in gym gear 80 per cent of the time - but will never pass up the opportunity to dress up.

My most recent purchase was a Sass and Bide high shine cotton jumper with gold sequins embellished over the entire back.

If I could have anyone's wardrobe it would be Kate Moss's because she is so effortless and casual, and Heidi Klum's wardrobe of dresses. She always looks magnificent on the red carpet.

In my address book you'll find Bistro, Moo Chow Chow, Clooney, Prego, Bliss Reflexology, MECCA Ponsonby.

I collect beautiful scented candles which I scatter around the house. Mor and Ecoya candles are my absolute favourites.

My favourite simple pleasures are morning workouts, spending time with family, laughing with good friends, beach holidays, Alsace pinot gris.
