Hayek sure to turn heads as face for Avon

Salma Hayek will be turning heads off the big screen in the coming months, reports Hello magazine : The Mexican-born actress has appeared in her first campaign as the face for cosmetics giant Avon.

The pictures are part of a new print media, television and online campaign aimed at bolstering Avon's colour and fragrance brands.

Avon signed the Oscar-nominated actress last February as its spokeswoman in an effort to overhaul its image. Among the other celebs who collaborate with the brand are tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams.

Hayek has also committed herself to be the spokeswoman for Avon's anti-domestic violence initiative, which aims to champion the health and well-being of women around the world.
