This double live album stickered "The Best of Guns N' Roses" delivers 22 tracks from when W. Axl Rose and co ruled the hard-rock roost.
Yes, they had the numbers - You Could Be Mine, November Rain, Paradise City, Welcome to the Jungle, Don't Cry -here duly belted out to their stadium stamping ground.
But I can't help think that while they sure sounded dangerous at the time, now they seem a bit antiquated, sloppy and not as loud.
Of course, they were old-fashioned even back then, and you can still whistle along to those butane-burning ballads (especially the whistling bit at the front of Patience). But mostly the sound of a legend ... a rather ancient one?
