We all love burgers, but do you love burgers enough to spend a massive $3600 on one?
Chef Diego Buik has just earned his place in the Guinness World Records for creating the most expensive burger on the planet.
So what does one put in such a pricey burger?
The ingredient's include, Japanese dry-ages Wagyu beef, Oosterschelde lobster infused with Dutch Hermit gin, foie gras, white truffle, Remeker cheese, Japanese fruit tomatoes and caviar on a brioche bun made with saffron and covered in gold leaf.
So what inspired the chef?
Hailing from the Netherlands, Buik developed a passion for burgers after spending 10 years working at the SoHo House in London.
He then returned to Rotterdam in the Netherlands and decided to design his own burgers.
In 2015 Buik won best burger in Rotterdam, but he wasn't prepared to stop there.
On International Burger Day, Buik made headlines with this golden monstrosity, dubbed the world's most expensive burger.
