1. Food Alley

One of the originals and still one of the best. With food from China, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea, Japan and Vietnam, you're spoilt for choice. The bar has freshly squeezed juices and cheap beers. A satisfying budget spot
to dine.
2. Food City
Pearn Crescent, Northcote Shopping Centre. Open 7 Days 10.30am-10pm
With 12 outstanding food outlets on two levels, plus a further 10 or more around the neighbouring street, this is a mecca for North Shore foodies. When you've exhausted yourself shopping at the nearby Savemart (30 College Rd) stop by for meals from as little as $8.
3. Ponsonby Food Court
106 Ponsonby Rd, Ponsonby. Open 10am-10pm (kitchens close between 9pm and 9.30pm)
As well as one of Auckland's original Vietnamese restaurants (the Mekong) this spot sports some non-Asian corners. A favourite of the trendy inner city crowd, so prices are a dollar or two more.
4. Food Court
Atrium on Elliott, 21-25 Elliott St. Mon-Wed 7am -6pm, Thur-Fri 7am to 7pm. Sat 8am-7pm, Sun 9am-5pm
With a large choice of food styles and plenty of seating including upstairs on the pavement it's buzzy and busy.
