She bought the noodles from a local supermarket on May 17. The "best before" date is October 13, 2016.
Mrs Morris had lost her appetite somewhat yesterday, saying she might "just have a cup of tea" instead.
"I don't think I'll be buying them for a while."
Mrs Morris wanted the noodles tested so she could find out exactly what the unwanted extra was, and how it got inside a sealed package.
The incident comes less than two weeks after a Whanganui woman took the top off a steak-and-cheese pie to find "a little bushy thing" growing inside.
In March a rodent's foot was allegedly found in a Tegel saveloy sold in Gonville.
