You'd think a hangover would be enough punishment for a rowdy night out but imagine waking up with a hangover and a A$8500 ($10,000) bill.
That's what happened to UK man Will Armstrong, or at least what he thought happened after a cheeky travel agent played a prank on him.
so I was pretty drunk the other night and I lost my ID, then this turns up today... pic.twitter.com/TX0CHttfnT
After losing his ID on a night out, Armstrong, from Cheltenham got a shock when a letter from Flight Centre arrived in the post to confirm a first-class flight to the Maldives, reports News.com.au.
The letter was accompanied by a travel itinerary, leading him to believe somebody had used his mislaid license to spend more than £5,000 ($9000) on flights.
Luckily, he quickly discovered it was a practical joke from a Flight Centre travel agent, named Steve, who found his ID outside of the store. He found another note with his ID and explanation attached.
Armstrong tweeted the prank, with images of the letter and itinerary, where it has been retweeted more than 60,000 times, at the time of writing.
He even tweeted a follow up the following day, showing a picture of him and Steve posing for a photo together.
