Flex your mussels

Marlborough celebrates during the Havelock Mussel Festival on March 18 with entertainment, food stalls and competitions. A chef will demonstrate ways to cook mussels and mussel-openers will aim for a world record. At the Havelock Domain, 11am to 6pm. Tickets bought before March 11 cost $10 a person or $25 a family. After that it's $15/$40.
