If Dad's a petrolhead, chances are he'll love this special Father's Day treat at MOTAT. Be sure to book in advance - this event sold out in three days last year.

If your Dad - or Granddad even - is a bit of a model train nut, he'll probably know about this event already, but surely he'd appreciate some company. This layout of model trains will be running for one day only and it's the result of ten people each building their dream railway section and putting them all together. There's a range of New Zealand and international scenery and a variety of trains running all day.
