Next weekend marks the start of Auckland Cup Week - which includes TV3 Derby Day, Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Cup Day and Diamond Day at Ellerslie, as well as Oaks Night and Auckland Cup Night at Alexandra Park.

Auckland Cup Day and Diamond Day are about keeping it ultra-feminine, which this vintage-feel two-piece and glorious hat combination from New Zealand's own queen of millinery, Natalie Chan, is perfect for. I can't go past these bold floral offerings from Trelise Cooper and Juliette Hogan, which are equally divine. For simple elegance, Kate Sylvester's Birdie Dress ticks all the boxes.
