With the arrival of autumn comes cooler mornings and evenings and the time when men will instinctively reach for a jacket and think about layering up.

As always there's an element of military and utilitarian style throughout menswear this season, as well as influences from urban sportswear. Expect the usual shades of brown - from dark through sand and khaki - with blues and greys also to the fore. Textile handles range from heavy weight cottons and soft wool jerseys, to waxed canvas.
