A gorgeously girlish show from Twentysevennames was a lyrical start to day three of Fashion Week. Flowing hair, fluid dresses and just enough detailing made simple special.
The label sticks to its knitting - in this case bobbly sweaters - by making the sort of sweet frocks young women want
to wear. These referenced the 1990s coming age of designers Rachel Easting and Anjali Stewart.
Georgette was the fabric of choice in body skimming shirt dresses and shifts in creamy and nude tones and black. Delicate lace insets showed on sleeves.
Colour, when it was used, was mostly muted, seen in tidy florals and devore velvet. They also went a bit polka dotty.
Tailoring was restricted to little stripey or piped blazers that finished waist high and to a caped coat.
These heavier wool pieces slip easily over frocks to frolic in.
