Andrea Moore underlined that hers are good shops in which to buy a nice winter coat. They came in camel and cyclamen, teal and woodsmen plaid, with capes as another option for cooler days ahead. Some had safari-style detailing and others were hooded and draped from back yokes.

The Wellington designer's collection was entitled Neon Jungle, but the urban edge was in the styling of black stiletto booties and acid yellow and hot pink tights, with the clothes safely commercially.

Long line jackets and cardis layered up with skinny pants and floaty, graphic floral print skirts.

A giant dot print jazzed up a tunic dress. A bubble skirt and a cut-away satin shift with one-sleeve sat oddly amidst the work ready wear.

Moore is best when she sticks to her knits - and coats.
