Jacqui Ansin, a group account director at Auckland communication agency Publicis Mojo, has just been appointed to help run the day-to-day side of the business.

She enjoys working with clients on their communication strategies and putting into place exciting new campaigns.

Outside work she loves catching up with friends

Ansin's favourite pastime is taking her dog, Louis, for long weekend walks at Muriwai beach.

Who are your favourite fashion designers?

Chloe, Victor & Rolf.

What is your favourite accessory of the moment?

My Costume National aviator sunnies. I can't take them off. It feels like I've been wearing huge black sunnies forever.

What is your biggest fashion indulgence?

Shoes. Any shoe shop. I am Imelda Marcos in disguise. I will buy anything from Chanel to No. 1 Shoe Warehouse.

What is the last item of clothing you bought?

I'm sure I don't need any more black dresses in my wardrobe but I've just bought a black Chloe evening dress and a black crochet dress by Australian designer T. L. Wood, which is great for travelling. I can roll it up and it doesn't crease.

What can't you live without?

Louis, my 12-week-old puppy. He is a lichon, which is a lhasa apso crossed with a bichon frise. He hasn't been part of my life for long, but I can't remember what life was like without him.

Who inspires you?

My best friend, Charlotte Devereux. She is stunning, creative and manages to juggle a successful business as well as a busy family life. She always manages to turn up to things looking beautiful.

Favourite hotels?

Establishment Hotel in Sydney. It is so simple, unobtrusive and understated. I also love the W on Woolloomooloo. It has recently been bought by Taj Hotels and Resorts and renamed Blue Sydney.

What is your beauty routine?

Anything that is simple. I use a Lancome cleanser and toner. I have trusty Garnier wipes for when I am in a hurry. I can't live without my Clarins Orchidee Bleue Face Treatment Oil, essential before I go to bed. My emergency cure of all time is Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. If I've been out, or just overtired, it re-energises my skin. My other essential is YSL concealer.

Who does the best handbags?

I have always been a Louis Vuitton girl. I think it's important to have good quality handbags. You keep a good handbag for years. I bought my first Louis Vuitton bag seven years ago and it is still going strong.

Favourite colour?

I've tried to avoid black for years but now all I seem to want to buy again is black.

Favourite store of the moment?

Tango in High St is great on a Saturday when I have some time.

What's your favourite look?

I have completely changed my wardrobe to dresses. The best thing is that they take me everywhere. Great at work during the day or if I have a function at night.

Best outfit?

I bought a beautiful beige trenchcoat in Italy six years ago. It is just as great as the day I bought it. It has taken me through very different fashion phases.

Worst fashion mistake?

Espadrille shoes. They just never seemed to work for me. They felt clunky.

Best fashion bargain?

A pair of snakeskin shoes that were $29.95 from Quick Brown Fox in Sydney. I haven't taken them off in four years.
