"The Duchess is incredibly grateful to the team at @BritishVogue and @NPGLondon for asking her to take part."
Two portraits from the shoot were installed at the National Portrait Gallery, and the Duchess will visit the exhibition on May 4 to see the images in person.
The images show the relaxed-yet-stunning Duchess posing outdoors.
The images were shot by British photographer Josh Olins. Photo / Kensington Palace Twitter One, in colour, depicts her leaning on a wooden fence and another in black and white is a close up, showcasing her natural beauty.
The full portfolio of eight photographs, including the cover, will appear in the centenary June 2016 issue of British Vogue .
