The secrets of Fashion Week are set to be unveiled this year, as the event is opened up to a global audience.
The seventh annual event, which takes place this September, is heading to a computer near you, thanks to desktop television.
At the Air New Zealand Fashion Week designer launch this afternoon, organisers announced this year's line up, as well as some new initiatives.
Desktop television, an Australian designer exhibition and an expanded public programme are all on the cards.
Driven by the success of last year's public day - NZFW4U - organisers have expanded the programme to comprise two public days and a specialised beauty zone.
This year's event will see the return of several leading New Zealand designers as well as some fresh new faces.
Established label Ricochet will make its Fashion Week debut this year, as will emerging brands Chelsea Thorpe, Lonely Hearts Club, Love Lies Bleeding and more.
Fashion Week takes place from September 16 to 22 at the Viaduct Harbour Marine Village.
