According to The Sun the video has drawn a raft of comments from disgusted viewers, with one person saying someone at the restaurant "should get fired" over the incident.
Another commenter tried to look at the positive, pointing out that "at least you know it's real chicken."
It is believed the staff at the restaurant, named "Quick", hadn't noticed the head when putting the chicken pieces into the deep fryer.
It isn't the first time unwelcome extras have ended up in food, with one family shocked to find maggots in their KFC, and a customer coming across a dead bird in their supermarket salad.
