Bubba the cat has been dedicated to attending high school for the last six years - so it's fitting that this learned feline has received his own ID card.
Bubba the ginger tom is the resident cat at Leland High School in San Jose, California. He's been featured in theyearbook, the senior magazine and even has his own Facebook page with more than 30,000 likes.
While he doesn't actually live at the school, just nearby, Bubba has made a point of visiting the school nearly every day for the last six years and shows no sign that he's planning to graduate any time soon.
He became an official student of the school earlier in the year when he was issued with his own ID card. A true scholar, Bubba once spent 36 hours locked inside a classroom before being rescued.
Students even petitioned for a statue of the well-loved kitty to be installed at the school, but unfortunately it was denied.
