Dear D&P: My friend is lying about how she got slim

My best friend had her stomach stapled and is really slim now, but tells everyone it was done through dieting and exercise and that is just not true. Shall I squeal?

Your friend is a big fat liar, though not technically overweight, and should not go around telling people it was done through hard work and dieting when it was done with $20k. It just makes people who find it so hard to lose weight feel bad about themselves when she has made it look easy. Shame on her.

Don't be that jealous friend. If she wants to lie, let her. There's no point in trying to bring her down. Stay in your lane and let her do her thing.
