Fancy sipping on one of the world's most expensive wines? You might be in luck.
Two bottles of Chateau Petrus Pomerol 2005 are for sale after an order from a top buyer was cancelled.
Sitting nicely in Glengarry Wines' Victoria Park cellar in Auckland, the wine is at
present retailing in New York for US$6200. The New Zealand retail price is $9500.
Glengarry products and operations manager Liz Wheadon said only a small number of cases were brought in each year and were immediately snapped up by collectors.
"It's certainly the first time it's been made available on retail shelves here."
