Former tennis world number 1 Caroline Wozniacki has been dropped from an underwear deal after the male counterpart for the brand, Cristiano Ronaldo, became too successful.
Danish company JBS launched Wozniacki's range of underwear in 2012, just before signing on soccer superstar Ronald for his CR7 range the following year.
The deal with the Real Madrid athlete proved so popular that Wozniacki got the chop, yahoo.co.uk reported.
"We had hoped to grab a market, but the impact of CR7 has been far, far greater than we dared dream of," JBS director Morten Alstrup told Ekstra Bladet.
"So it is best for the company to stop working with Caroline Wozniacki."
Interestingly, JBS said Ronaldo was inspired to enter the underwear business because of the pinup tennis player.

"Caroline Wozniacki is one of the reasons that we have got hold of Cristiano Ronaldo," Alstrup added.
"He had seen how Caroline dared to be pictured in only her underwear that we had made for her, and he liked it."
