Blogger Constance Hall explains why women lose their sex drive

Popular Australian blogger Constance Hall has taken to Facebook to talk about the issue that affects women's sex drive in long-term relationships.

The mum-of-four interviewed sexologist and relationship expert Dr Nikki Goldstein about why some women lose interest in sex over the years.

According to Hall, the main reason relates to the partner's behaviour.

When a man isn't considerate of a woman's needs, outside the bedroom, that's reflected in a loss of sex drive, the expert explained (much to the agreement of seemingly everyone who commented on the post).

"Who the f*** wants to root a bloke that hasn't considered them??? When someone leaves muddy footprints on the floor you just swept, or comes back from work before you but doesn't put dinner on, or slept in while you did school run," Hall wrote on Facebook, paraphrasing the expert.

"Not me. You can stick to w****** and so will I."

She also said that "the lack of importance put on the female orgasm" is another factor and that, according to Goldstein, "'after play' is the answer".

The decline in women's sex drive can also be linked to the number of women in the workforce and the fact that, according to Hall, women are spending, on average, 30 per cent more time with their children than they did 30 years ago.

The blogger also reminded her big Facebook following (she has more than 1 million likes, and counting) that the average sex life varies greatly but you are more likely to hear from people bragging about having a lot of sex.
